Keto flu is defined by a variety of symptoms experienced by some first-time users of a keto diet. The signs of keto flu are similar to symptoms of flu. Keto flu occurs as a result of the adaptation of the body to the keto diet which consists of very little carbohydrate content.

So, what are some signs of keto flu? An individual who is suffering from keto flu experiences constipation, stomach pain, insomnia, sore muscles, and cramps. Besides, the person experiences dizziness, headaches, fatigue, cravings, irritability, and mood swings.

Treatment of keto flu depends on the specific symptoms of keto flu. For instance:

(1) Headache is treated by eating food with a high content of minerals. Bone broth and sea salt are the best examples of food rich in minerals. Furthermore, supplements with potassium and magnesium serve the same purpose as food rich in minerals.
