Glucose-6-phosphate from glycogenolysis or from glucose (conversion of glucose to Glucose-6-phosphate in step number one of glycolytic pathway ) has three fates as shown in the diagram.

In the Luo community, there is a cliché phrase that states, “ Alot miseyo ema tero Kuon. ” This is loosely translated as: “ It is the vegetable that has been despised that finishes the ugali (kuon)”. This best describes Hon. Dorothy Otieno when she first showed interest in becoming Rongo MP in 2027. People discredited her candidature.
